‘Animal House’ casting agent featured during Art Walk calls for locals featured in movie

November 22 - Author and filmmaker Katherine Wilson is holding a book signing and fire sale at The Bookmine during Friday’s Artwalk, Nov. 25. For that night only, her books, posters, DVDs, Oregon Public Broadcasting’s version of the documentary “Animal House of Blues” will be up for sale. The event is at the Bookmine, 702 East Main St. from 6 to 8 p.m.
With live music by Tommy Ray, there will be food for a food fight and free merchandise — for people who let the team film them for their “Animal House” story!

Wilson will be signing her newest books, featuring rare, behind-the-scenes photos of the filming of “Animal House” and other Hollywood movies she has worked on. The books for sale include never before seen photographs from 50 major films shot in Oregon, including “Echoes from the Set Volume II: 1967-1977,” “Shadows from the Underground Cinema Under the Influence,” including her brushes with stars like John Belushi, Bill Murray and Jack Nicholson.
