Thursday, September 26 the Lincoln Middle School cross country team made a leisurely jaunt to Oak Hill School for the King of the Hill race. The 3,000-meter course and the competition proved to be one of the toughest tests of the entire season.
Carter Bengston was the lone top ten finisher in the boys event comprising 215 runners. With 204 entrants, Gracee Dizick-Kaleese was the highest placer in the girls event. When all of the team scores were tallied, the boys ended the day fifth while the girls did one spot better, posting a fourth-place finish.
