Art Walk the 'chalk' of the town

October 6 - The Sept. 30 Art Walk in Historic Downtown Cottage Grove radiated with amazing sidewalk creations through Main Street. Participants used their talents to explore their own temporary murals.
Additionally, Eva Davenport’s portrait was unveiled by Kenneth Michael Roberts at The Bookmine. A crowd of over 100 were present, including the Cottage Grove Mural Committee with Lloyd Williams, author and historian Holli Turpin, all of the Partners in History, a local chapter of E Clampus Vitus, who helped sponsor the project, and Charlie Sannes, who helped transport and install artist Connie Huston’s work at The Bookmine.
And the Axe & Fiddle played host to Eugene’s melodic and hypnotic band Llorona, whose quartet graced the stage with soulful Mexican ranchera, rock and folk inspired music.
