Beatriz Marie Clifton de Baires passed away on August 1, 2023.

Beatriz Marie Clifton de Baires, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, August 1st, 2023, at UW Hospital in Madison, WI. She was born at Balboa Naval Hospital in Panama on 12/27/1947. She graduated high school in Panama City, Panama. She was a US Army veteran and a retired lead pharmacy technician. She enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, sewing, crafting, Panamanian cooking, travel, hiking, bowling, telenovelas, and spending time with family.

She is survived by her husband, Patrick Clifton of Cottage Grove, Her daughter Dianne (Andy) Jones of Marshall, WI and her stepsons Michael Clifton and Jeffrey Clifton of Colorado. She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter Deborah Rae "Deb" Federman. She is also survived by her grandchildren Cassandra (Steven), Krystal (Dustin), Catherine, Michael, Kaitlynn, Kaylee, and Cylis. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Elijah, Gabriel, Liam, Kilean, Grantlee, Payson, and Madison. 

She is further survived by her family in Panama: Her Aunt Teresa, Her sister Gladys, Her brother Miguelito, Her nephew Chinito, Her Niece Betty, and other people in Panama. 

She is also further survived by many other friends and family. Per her wishes the will be no services of mourning, but she did pass on some of her Panamanian cooking recipes to her family for future celebrations.

Beatriz Marie Clifton de Baires, de 75 años, falleció el martes 1 de agosto de 2023 en el Hospital UW en Madison, WI. Nació en el Hospital Naval de Balboa en Panamá el 27/12/1947. Se graduó de la escuela secundaria en la Ciudad de Panamá, Panamá. Ella era una veterana del ejército de los EE. UU. y una técnica de farmacia líder jubilada. Disfrutaba del crochet, la cerámica, la costura, las manualidades, la cocina panameña, los viajes, las caminatas, los bolos, las telenovelas y pasar tiempo con la familia.

Le sobreviven su esposo, Patrick Clifton de Cottage Grove, su hija Dianne (Andy) Jones de Marshall, WI y sus hijastros Michael Clifton y Jeffrey Clifton de Colorado. Le sobreviven además su familia en Panamá: su hermana Gladys, su hermano Miguelito, su tía Teresa, su sobrino Chinito, su sobrina Betty y otras personas en Panamá.

También le sobreviven muchos otros amigos y familiares. Según sus deseos, no habrá servicios de duelo, pero le pasó algunas de sus recetas de cocina panameña a su familia para futuras celebraciones.
