Beverly Mae Yost

Beverly Mae Yost passed away on December 22, 2022.
Beverly (“Bev”) Mae Yost was born in Pasadena, California, the only child of Ercell and Neva (Cazel) Fuller. Bev grew up in Southern California and graduated from Santa Ana High School. She later met and married Harrison (“Harry”) Yost, a U.S. Marine. They lived in California, Washington and Oregon and had three sons together – James, John and Jeff. Bev later settled in Oregon’s Willamette Valley where she served the State of Oregon through roles in the Department of Human Services. Bev and her then husband Glenn Hescock retired to Baker City, Oregon. She was a prolific traveler – visiting 5 continents and cruising all over the world. She was also an avid quilter, baker and host to family and friends. In her later years, Bev moved to Cottage Grove where she was an active member of the Riverside Community Church of God. She is survived by her three sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 14 at 11:00am at the Riverside Church (1255 South River Road, Cottage Grove) with reception following. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the church at https://riversidechurchofgod.com or by phone (541-942-7126).
