Carol Wood passed away on September 14, 2022.

Carol Wood, 90, of Cottage Grove, OR died at home September 14, 2022.

Carol was born October 03, 1931 in Bartlesville, OK to Lewis (Wirt) and Opal Lemert. She worked several years as a secretary for 1^st Presbyterian Church in Cottage Grove, but her devotion was always to provide a loving home for her family.

She enjoyed any type of recreational activity especially fishing and camping. 

She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Cecil Wood of Cottage Grove, her daughter Jan Locke of Junction City, her son Steve and his wife Teri of Cottage Grove, 4 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date. Arrangements in the care of Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel and Crematorium.
