Clarence Kreamier

Clarence Kreamier, also known as “The Cottage Grove Waver,” died on April 17, 2019 at the age of 70. He was born on November 25, 1948 in Riverside, CA to parents Louis and Edena (Mahurin) Kreamier. He graduated from Norte Vista High School in Riverside, CA, and was in the U.S. Army Artillery, serving in Vietnam from 1969-1974. He retired as a truck driver for Safeway. He enjoyed classic cars, bowling, yard selling, woodworking, and building decks and fences. He played the saxophone, enjoyed listening to music, helping others, and making people happy. He was well-known locally for sitting at “his” corner and waving to cars and passers-by, affectionately referred to as “The Waver.” Clarence is survived by his daughter, Nancy Kreamier of Cottage Grove, OR; brother, Louis Kreamier of Republic, WA; sister, Darlene Majarian of Gilbert, AZ; grandchildren, Jayden and David Harrington. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Kreamier in 1994. A Memorial and Potluck will be held on Saturday, May 4, at 11:00 AM at the Delight Valley Church of Christ, 33087 Saginaw Rd East, Cottage Grove, OR 97424. Memorial contributions may be made to the Banner Bank Clarence Kreamier Memorial Fund in Cottage Grove. Arrangements are in the care of Sunset Hills
