Cottage Grove Physical Therapy welcomes new therapist, manager

Kevin Holmes, DPT, OCS, has chosen to join the team of health professionals at the Cottage Grove Physical Therapy Clinic located in the Safeway shopping center on East Main Street.

Holmes received his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of Montana in 2011 and is certified as an Orthopedic Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association.

Before undertaking a career in physical therapy, Holmes earned a bachelor’s degree in commercial recreational administration from California State University at Chico, Calif.

Holmes has also worked as a wildland firefighter, river guide and outdoor outfitter.

Cottage Grove Physical Therapy has been providing physical therapy services to the Cottage Grove community for 19 years.

As a physical therapist and clinic manager, Holmes will be specializing in the development of individualized plan of care directed toward achieving specific outcomes desired by patients and physicians.

Holmes said his decision to come to Cottage Grove was based upon his “commitment to meet the physical therapy needs of the community and to become the leader of an established team of highly respected therapy professionals.”

Holmes enjoys spending time with his wife, Heather, and their two sons, Bridger and Bryce. In his free time, Holmes skis, rafts, mountain bikes, fishes and backpacks.
