August 22, 2022
Theft was reported at Safeway at approximately 8:07 a.m. 

At 2:18 p.m., a victim of hit and run, reported that her vehicle was damaged by an unknown vehicle suspect at one of possible three parking lot locations during her travels today in Cottage Grove. The damage can be described as minor scratches with blue paint transferred from the suspect vehicle onto the passenger side rear bumper area of the victim vehicle. A damage estimate would approximately be less than $1000.00 to repair.

At 6:14 p.m., a call was received alleging concern for a two-year-old child. DHS was contacted.

At 7:20 p.m., a person was arrested during a welfare check performed by officers, check call for service. The arrestee was found to possess an outstanding warrant for his arrest which was set forth by the Reedsport Oregon Justice Court System regarding a traffic offense case. Once the warrant was confirmed, the Reedsport Court requested the arrestee be issued a citation in lieu of physical custody and be given a court date to appear. The citation was completed on scene and the arrestee was released from custody. 

August 23, 2022
While on a patrol check at 8:35 a.m. near Main and R St., a victim reported to a passing officer that he was assaulted the night before on 08/22/22.

At 10:35 a.m., an officer responded to a call at Goshen-Divide Hwy for a report of graffiti at Madison Ave.

At 9:54 p.m., an officer responded to an incomplete call regarding a suicidal subject.

August 24, 2022
Two officers responded at 12:06 a.m. to Mobil Gas station due to a burglary alarm. We were unable to locate any evidence of attempted entry. All doors and windows were shut and locked. The alarm company was unable to contact anyone responsible for the property.

At 11:35 a.m., an officer responded to Coiner Park to assist medics for report of a female that had collapsed. Subsequently, the subject was driven home and issued a written exclusion from all parks for 30 days for drinking in the park.

At 4:43 p.m., a person reported that he was involved in a motor vehicle accident and failed to get all of the needed information from the other driver. Prior to determining who the other driver was, the reporting party called back and advised that he had been in touch with her and that the issue was resolved.

At 10:21p.m., an officer responded to a residence on 14th St., due to a report of vicious dogs.

August 25, 2022
Between the hours of 5:00-6:30 p.m., an unknown person threw a large rock (approximately 6" x 4" x 2 1/2") through the back window of patrol vehicle #21. 

Audio and video recording has been reviewed by on-duty patrol and they will attempt to locate throughout their shifts. The incident was forward to the City Manager.

CGPD dispatch received an emailed 24-hour response OHS 307. An officer contacted the assigned case-worker at approximately 1403hrs on 08/26/2022, who advised he would do a home visit later in the day. He did not anticipate the need of police assistance but was advised to call CGPD dispatch if the need for police arose while in contact with the family.

At 12:37 p.m., a vehicle in this case was marked and tagged as abandoned. The vehicle had been parked at the location for such a long period of time that dust and cob/spider webs had grown around all four tires from the pavement. Follow up to determine if the involved vehicle has been moved will be completed by the case officer.  

At 1:06 p.m., A complainant was reported by a citizen for theft of prescription pills from the summer school program where her child attends. After interviewing the school staff, there was insufficient evidence and no probable cause to believe any employees stole the medication. A report taken for documentation.

At 2:46 p.m., while on a traffic stop, the driver of a vehicle was arrested for an outstanding warrant near the Row River connector.

At approximately 5:00 p.m., the Cottage Grove Police Department received a call about a debit card theft and usage.

At 5:04 p.m., Safeway reported a shoplifting theft in progress. Upon officer arrival, the suspects had fled in a silver Toyota Avalon Sedan and could not be located. The involved vehicle plate is not DMV registered in the surrounding Lane County Oregon area and no prior police contacts had been made with it by the Cottage Grove Police Department.

At 7:20 p.m., a husky was located at 16th and Harvey.

August 26,2022
An officer responded to the CG Vet clinic at 9:13 a.m. to remove a bicycle that was found along their fence line that is adjacent to Coiner Park. The bike was lodged at Public Works for safekeeping.

At 11:47 a.m., the Cottage Grove Police were contacted at the request of Chvatal Orthodontics, who reported that a person had been overnight camping on their property. The suspect was contacted by the case officer and verbally advised trespass from the location. The suspect left the business within a reasonable time period after being told to do so.

At 12:17 p.m., An officer responded to assist a citizen who was granted a 20-minute standby by Lane County Circuit Court when he was served a restraining order by Lane County Sheriff’s Office.

At approximately 2:28pm, a reporting party near Gateway Apartments advised a neighbor had kicked a soda at her children and neighboring children while they were sitting in the breezeway of the apartments. Caller advised she did not want any criminal charges pursued.

At 5:20 p.m., A reporting party advised her mother's home was having the water from the outside hose used by an unknown RV that was parked in front of the house. Owner of RV was cited in lieu of custody for theft of services.

At approximately 7:03 p.m., a reporting party advised her son had run away from his grandmother's house. He returned to his grandmother's home at approximately 8:44pm.

At 8:01 p.m., a reporting party wished to report that his unsecured vehicle that was parked in front of his residence had been unlawfully entered by two juvenile white males at approximately 01:20 a.m. this morning. Nothing was taken from the vehicle, and it appeared as if the juvenile had taken pictures while inside and around the vehicle. After case officer review of the security camera footage no facial recognition was observed for identification. An extra patrol request was entered for the next seven days with no charges stated or wished to be pursued.

At 08:37 p.m., a victim was verbally trespassed by responding CGPD Police Officers at the request of the business. The suspect was escorted off the property and this case was taken for trespass documentation purposes. The suspect's name file within the CGPD database is now updated and reflects the trespass advisement regarding today's incident.

August 27, 2022
At 1:17 p.m., officer took a report for a hit and run (property damage) that occurred at Safeway Gas.

At 01:39 p.m., the Cottage Grove Police responded to and assisted the South Lane Fire and Rescue Team with a single motorcycle accident. The female rider had over corrected while negotiating a turn near the involved intersection and laid the motorcycle down at low speed causing injury to her left leg. Traffic control efforts were made by the responding case officer until medics transported the female rider from the intersection. The involved motorcycle displayed very minor damage which was ultimately ridden home by the involved rider’s husband.

At 4:22 p.m., An officer conducted a traffic stop near Main and 16th on a known DWS-Misdemeanor individual. The individual was placed under arrest.

At 4:51 p.m., A suspect was observed to be driving a motor vehicle on public roadway while the suspects driving privileges were suspended misdemeanor/revoked after a routine OMV records check was conducted. The suspect left the area before a traffic stop could be conducted by the case officer but was ultimately located later by another CGPD Patrol Officer. The suspect and taken into custody under 2022-1647 and lodged into the Cottage Grove Municipal Jail. The suspect was additionally cited in lieu of custody for DWS Misdemeanor regarding this case.

At 7:49 p.m., An individual in Cottage Grove Police Department Jail continually made an unreasonable amount of noise that disrupted Dispatch and Cottage Grove Police's ability to complete their job, despite multiple warnings.

At approximately 8:13 p.m., a black sedan hit a red Mitsubishi Mirage near Safeway and fled the scene.

August 28, 2022
The Cottage Grove Police responded at 12:46 p.m., to a motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles. Upon officer arrival, all parties were off the roadway, and each advised the that they were uninjured and denied medical attention. The case officer confirmed both drivers involved possessed valid driving privileges and current insurance coverage information. No digital images were captured of either vehicle damage by the officer and no citation was issued to driver #1.

At 4:36 p.m., a female chihuahua was found.

At 5:06 p.m., a shoplifter was caught at Walmart and placed under arrest.

August 29, 2022
At 0112 hrs., I responded to 400 E. Main St. (Cottage Grove Police Department) due to a report of child abandonment.

At 0618 hrs., Cottage Grove Police dispatch substance of a DHS form 307 that had been faxed over, stating that a 14-year-old Male had abused cough syrup for the purpose of causing self-harm. The child was transported by his Guardian to the Hospital, where he was treated and transported for observation. DHS is investigating the home with concerns of child neglect. Officers responding do not believe there is a basis for a criminal investigation currently. If inquiries by D.H.S. necessitate police involvement, further investigation will be conducted at that time.

A 1706 hrs., I received a phone call report of an assault which occurred on 8/26/2022.

At 1809 hrs., Cottage Grove Police responded to the listed apartment complex regarding a disturbance between two parties. After case officer investigation, an aggressor could not be determined. The only visible injury was observed on party #2 listed above which was accidentally self-inflicted, and medical attention was being pursued after the case officer interview was completed. No injury was observed on party #1.

At 1938 hrs., Cottage Grove Police were dispatched to the 265 Gateway Apartment Complex regarding an in progress disorderly subject who was trespassing on the property and menacing a tenant with a hammer. The suspect was located by responding patrol officers and taken into custody without incident, ultimately being lodged into the Cottage Grove Municipal Jail under the charges listed in this case.

August 30, 2022
At 0722 hrs., an officer responded to home on the 2500 block of Main Street, for a report of criminal mischief. RP stated that someone drilled a hole in the gas tank of his truck and drained all the gas.

At 1450 hours, an officer responded to a report of a fraud at Walmart, at the 900 block of Row River Rd..

At 1700 hours, an officer took a report of Criminal Mischief that occurred on 08/25/2022 at Bohemia Park.

At 2034 hrs., an officer responded to an alleged theft at Silk Creek Park.

At 20:55 hours, at approximately 9:07pm, an elderly man was found at Bi-Mart. Adult foster care was contacted and released to their care.

At 23:45 hrs., at approximately 11:48pm. a female advised her ex-boyfriend tossed their dog at her.

At 23:06 hrs., at approximately 11:57pm, a female advised a known male had entered her residence while she was gone and taken items.

August 31, 2022
At 0334 hrs., the suspect intentionally drove his vehicle into Cottage Grove Police Car. Unit 21 while it was parked at the police department causing a minor abrasion to the driver side bumper.

At 1012 hrs., the listed suspect in this case was found on the vacant property at the 200 block of Cherry Court. The suspect had been previously evicted from the property and was found by the case officer to be camping outside the residence near the backyard lawn area in a tent. The suspect was trespassed from the property and escorted off the premises by the case officer, with a verbal trespass advisement which was entered into the CGPD database under the suspect name file.

At 0821 hrs., an officer was dispatched to 400 block of East Main Street, to take a report on a missing person that is in custody at Cottage Grove Police Dept.

At 1215 hrs., an officer responded with lights and sirens to a non-injury but blocking Motor Vehicle Crash at Row River/Gateway.

At 1253 hrs., a 24-year-old female was arrested on multiple charges and transported to the Lane County Jail after attempting to assault the involved victim by means of crashing her vehicle into the victim.

September 01, 2022
At 0436 hrs., an officer responded to the area to locate a single vehicle non-injury crash at the request of Oregon State Police due to them not having anyone on duty. The officer assisted the driver in getting their vehicle towed and the driver was cited for Driving Without Privileges and Driving Uninsured.

At 0713 hrs., Cottage Grove Police Dispatch advised of a DHS form 307 that had been faxed over for review. DHS received a report of possible neglect to children in the home. DHS closed the report at screening stating that the report does not meet the criteria for a Present or Impending Danger to children. After speaking with the Case Worker, the officer was advised that attempts will be made to contact the family in regard to a separate DHS report of neglect It was stated Officers on duty will be contacted for assistance, if necessary, at that time.

At 0839 hrs., Cottage Grove Police were requested by the medical staff at the Cottage Grove Emergency Hospital regarding a patient who was currently struggling with security due to his tumultuous behavior. Officers arrived on scene and assisted the medical staff with sedating the patient due to being highly under the influence of numerous narcotics at the time he was being cared for by the staff. Once the patient was sedated, all CGPD patrol units cleared the scene, and this case was taken to document the incident.

At 1459 hrs., the involved victim reported criminal mischief to his truck driver side window. It was stated that the truck was parked in the owner’s driveway on 8/31/22 in known good condition and found mid-day on 9/1/22 with the described damage. With no suspect clues or surveillance on scene, this case is to be closed with no suspect information.

At 1425 hrs., an officer was dispatched to 29 North 7th Street (US Bank) located in Cottage Grove. The call for service was regarding a male swinging around a large sword causing a public alarm. According to CGPD Police Dispatch, there were multiple callers that had called in a male subject swinging the sword around. A male was contacted in the alley way behind the US Bank. The male was told he was detained and a use of forced occurred. The male was taken to the CGPD Jail and lodged.

At 2355 hrs., I trespassed the listed suspect in this case from the listed location at the request of the listed victim. An officer took a case at the request of the victim so that a report was available due to ongoing incidents of unwanted contact.

September 2, 2022
At 1304 hrs., the driver of a traffic stop was CLC'd for municipal court Probation violations related to cases 20211756, 20212581. and 20212605.

At 1542 hrs., an officer conducted a patrol check at 1000 East Main Street, Trail Head Park. During that check, an officer contacted a male who was littering property, smoking tobacco, and marijuana inside an open tent. The male was excluded from all City of Cottage Grove Parks for (90) days.

At 1651 hours, an officer responded to 1545 Gateway Blvd for a disorderly female causing public alarm at the location. An arrived and spoke with the employees at Dutch Brother's Coffee. They wanted the female trespassed, who they described to be in a blue Jeep in the parking lot. The responding officer looked over and observed the Jeep parked. The staff advised they wanted the female trespassed from the property due to her behavior. The officer contacted the female driver and identified her from an Oregon license photo. She was trespassed from the property and advised if she returned, she would be arrested for Criminal Trespass.

At 1806 hrs., an officer was dispatched to Carnegie Way and South R Street for an abandoned recreation vehicle (RV). The officer arrived and located the (RV) on R Street, north of the intersection and on the east side of the street. The (RV) was parked in the middle of the roadway, blocking traffic, and creating a hazard.

September 3, 2022
At 0907 hrs., a resident was removing property from their house belonging to a subject who no longer lives there and found a small baggie containing 14 small blue pills, presumed to be fentanyl. The pills were lodged in property and evidence for destruction.

At 1850 hours, an officer arrested a male for violating park rules and returning to the park when being excluded. He was transported to the CGPD Jail and lodged.

At 2042 hrs., An officer excluded a female from 3200 Row River Road Park, East Regional Park for offensive Littering for (90) days.

At 2250 hours, I arrested a male for an outstanding warrant through the Lane County Circuit Court for Failing to Appear on a Contempt of Court charge. I transported him to the Lane County Jail and lodged him for the warrant.

September 4, 2022
At 1313 hours, two (2) Pitbull female dogs were at large inside the City of Cottage Grove. A citizen brought them to the CGPD and advised of them running lose. The owner listed in the system picked them up later in the evening. He was advised of the Dog at large ordinance.

At 1448 hrs., the Cottage Grove Police were contacted by a Main Street business regarding finding drug contraband inside the business property. The contraband can be described as a white crystalline substance housed in small plastic Ziploc bag. The substance was weighed in bag as 0.6 grams and was lodged into the Cottage Grove Police Evidence locked under this case for destruction.

At 1618 hrs., an officer excluded a female from all city parks for smoking a cigarette, the exclusion was for {15) days.

At 1715 hrs., an officer arrested a male for Disorderly Conduct II and Criminal Trespass I. The male refused to leave the residence after being told multiple times to leave causing public alarm in the neighborhood creating a 911 call. I transported him to the CGPD Jail and lodged him in cell (1).

At 2050 hrs., an officer responded to the 1800 block of East Main Street for a male who advised he was assaulted, and another male stole his property during the assault. The assault occurred at Trail Head Park, located at 1000 East Main Street.

September 5, 2022
At 09:01 hrs.  A Pit Bull was placed on a 10-day voluntary quarantine after a dog bite within the household. The domesticated Pit Bull bit the owners' mother, who lives within the home. No criminal charges were wished to be pursued by the victim, as it was said to have been an unfortunate accidental incident. The victim was transported to the hospital for an assessment of slight injury to her hand and arm. I transported the dog to the Cottage Grove Police Kennels without incident, to begin a 10-day quarantine process.

At 12:49 hrs. An officer responded to a report of a stolen vehicle. The victim reported a 2015 Chevy Sonic as being stolen overnight, some time while it was parked at her residence. The vehicle was parked with the only key to it secured inside the home, at approximately 11:00 p.m. on 9/4/22. At approximately 12:30p.m, when the victim went to leave from home the following day, the vehicle was said to be gone from the location with no clues of its whereabouts. With no surveillance or further suspect information the victim signed a completed stolen vehicle form appropriately. The 4 door Black Chevy Sonic bearing an Oregon License plate was believed to have approximately 3 gallons of fuel in the tank but, otherwise in good working order. The vehicle was entered into the Law Enforcement Database appropriately by Dispatch after clearing the scene.

At 14:11 hrs. A counterfeit $100.00 U.S. note was discovered at Walmart and provided to the Cottage Grove Police Department where it was secured into an evidence locker. Walmart staff advised there was a delay in the discovery of the note, therefore researching the cameras for possible suspects would not be possible, as a result no suspects have been identified as of the writing of this report.

At 17:11 hrs. Dispatch responded to a cold call of a hit and run with building damage to the Riverside Terrace Apartment at the 1700 block of Hwy 99 N. The resident called to report noticing his apartment exterior wall being damaged after it being apparently struck by an unknown vehicle sometime on 9/4/2022. It was said that the wall was not noticed to be damaged at 5:00 p.m. but was noticed being damaged when the resident returned from work at 11:00 p.m. The damage appeared to have been made by a vehicle pulling into the parking spot that the victim general occupies. Digital photos were taken of the damage and added to this case for reference. With the property manager being notified via voicemail, dispatch left their contact information and associated case number with the reporting person to relay the information to the building manager. With no video surveillance or specific suspect information, this case will be closed at this time.

September 6, 2022

At 10:24 hrs. Graffiti at Chambers Covered Railroad Bridge. 

At 11:55 hrs. The Cottage Grove Police Department received a cross notification report from D.H.S. with reported concerns for the welfare of a six-year-old male when bruises were observed on his arm. Further investigation did not result in probable cause for the arrest of any persons, as the evidence for the bruising suggested it was due to a large, energetic, young dog the family possesses inside the home.

At 12:47 hrs. An officer responded to a theft of packages left on the porch of a residence on Wilson Avenue.

At 13:27 hrs. An officer responded to a report of Harassment. 

At 13:42 hrs. An officer reviewed a DHS 307, concerns for the welfare of a child with bruises.

At 13:34 hrs. A set of keys were located near Pennoyer Ave and they were returned to the owner later the same day.

At 17:41 hrs. An officer provided an individual a courtesy ride to Cottage Grove Hospital due to claims that he had been drugged. The individual said that he was also being stalked and financially exploited out of Salem, OR. The officer was able to see that the involved individual had difficulty holding still, focusing on a topic, and speaking without spitting. He had pinpoint pupils, flushed skin, and was sweating. The responding officer lodged a wood handled knife in a leather sheath for safekeeping and a white powder substance identified as 'drugs' for destruction.

At 21:45 hrs. At approximately 21:43 hours, an officer responded to an apartment complex for a welfare check.

September 8, 2022
At 16:58 hrs. An officer arrested a male for an outstanding confirmed warrant through the Oregon State Parole Board. The responding officer transported the male to the Lane County Jail and lodged him on the warrant.

At 18:47 hrs. An officer responded to Benny Hubble Park (959 N. 9th Street) for a report of an active fire.

At 19:06 hrs. An officer arrested a male for an outstanding warrant through the Lane County Court. The responding officer transported the male to the jail and lodged him on the warrant.

At 20:20 hrs. An officer again investigated OHS 307, a child with a bruised arm.

September 9, 2022 
At 10:19 hrs. A pair of green glasses were discovered at the Cottage Grove Police Department. The owner of the glasses was unknown. The glasses were secured into an evidence locker at the Cottage Grove Police Department.   

At 10:36 hrs. Officers responded to a report of an abandoned travel trailer on E. Main St near Thornton Rd. Officers arrived at that location and discovered the license plate on the travel trailer did not match the description of the travel trailer itself. An officer responded to the address listed for the license plate and discovered the license plate had been stolen off another travel trailer in that location. The license plate was removed from the abandoned trailer and returned to the owner of the other trailer. The abandoned travel trailer appeared empty so it was marked for tow. 

At 13:37 hrs. An officer responded to the 200 block of South 6th Street for an assault call for service. After investigating the call, a male was placed on a police officer's hold (POH) and was transported to the CG ER.

At 18:56 hrs. An officer trespassed a male from the property of Wal-Mart.

At 20:30 hrs. An officer responded to the 100 block of South R Street, for a hit and run complaint. Later in the evening, an officer arrested a male for striking property and not exchanging information with the property owner.

September 10, 2022
At 20:46 hrs. An officer arrested a male for Criminal Trespass on Safeway's property. The male was transported to the CGPD Jail and lodged.

At 2153 hrs., An officer excluded a female from all city parks, due to smoking tobacco.

At 22:03 hrs. An officer arrested a male for being in possession of a stolen vehicle and was transported to the CGPD Jail and lodged.

September 11, 2022
At 01:50 hrs. An officer issued a park exclusion to a male who was littering property at Trail Head Park, located at 1000 East Main Street in Cottage Grove.

At 06:33 hrs. An officer was provided six .221r cartridges by Walmart’s loss prevention and they advised they had discovered them on their property and wanted to turn them over to the police department. I secured the six cartridges into a plastic bag and secured them into an evidence locker at the Cottage Grove Police Department.
 

At 14:33 hrs. An officer arrested a male for Public Indecency and Disorderly Conduct II. He was transported to the CGPD Jail and lodged.

At 18:38 hrs. An officer arrested a male for driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was transported to the CGPD Jail and later cited and released with mandatory court appearances.

September 12, 2022
At 13:43 hours, a dark green Diamond Back Bike Frame was recovered and lodged as found property. No wants by serial number.

At 19:25 hours, a citizen reported that an unknown suspect(s} slashed the two (2) street side tires of the involved vehicle sometime over the night of 09/08/2022. An officer checked with a neighbor in the area but a nearby Ring camera did not capture any footage. The victim did not know of anyone who would do such a thing. The officer was able to see multiple straight cuts approximately one (1) inch long in the wall of each tire. The officer also collected photographs of the car.

September 13, 2022
At 13:21 hours, graffiti on bench was reported at Bohemia Park.

At 14:39 hours, The Cottage Grove Police received a report of a School Bus Safety Light Violation. An informational letter of the incident's occurrence was sent to the DMV address on file according to the license plate number provided.

At approximately 20:49 hours, an officer responded to 1the 1200 block of Ostrander Ln for a possible assault.

September 14, 2022
At a 09:48 hours, fraud was reported by means of many unauthorized bank transactions by an otherwise authorized user on a private bank account. The victim was advised on civil law suits as well as the processes of collecting data from banks statements to begin a fraud investigation by such banks. A supplemental report will be generated if further investigational information leads to a criminal investigation. An officer’s contact information was provided to the victim and his attorney.

At 16:48 hours, an officer responded to the front counter of the CGPD for a complaint of a fraud case. 

At 19:06 hours, an officer cited and released a female for Offensive Littering.

September 15, 2022
At 16:38 hours, I arrested a male for Criminal Trespass at Bohemia Park.

At approximately 3:03pm, a DHS307 was collected and closed.

September 19, 2022
At 7:51 a.m., Meili Construction reported the theft of construction tools. An enclosed job trailer parked on a job site at 1001 S 10th Street was discovered Monday morning having been broken into by means of force. The job site manager reported having approximately $5153.18 worth of tools stolen from inside the trailer. The crime was said to have occurred sometime over the weekend. The job site was last secured at approximately 6 p.m. Fri. Sept. 16th. No on site video surveillance or suspect clues were recovered. A responding officer supplied the job site manager their business card and contact information with a case number associated with this report of theft.

At 4:45 p.m., an officer arrested a male for Criminal Trespass. The male was previously trespassed from 1500 East Main Street, at Safeway.

At approximately 6 p.m., an anonymous male surrendered found property to the Cottage Grove Police Department.

At 6:27 p.m., a citizen brought a lanyard with keys on it into the CGPD (found at Chambers Bridge). The property was lodged for safekeeping.

At 6:42 p.m., an officer arrested a male for Criminal Trespass II and Resisting Arrest from Trail Head Park, located at 1000 East Main Street.

September 20, 2022
At approximately 6:35 a.m., an officer located a missing person (at Trail Head Park).

At approximately 6:39 p.m., a male came to CGPD and reported that he just bought a vehicle that had a switched license plate.

At 10:26 p.m., the Cottage Grove Police Dispatch advised of an OHS form 307 that had been faxed over to cross reference information. The report has not been assigned and was closed at screening with no indications of imminent or pending danger to children. Information in the report may be relevant to a prior case and its investigation conducted by LCSO in 2017. In the event that inquiries by D.H.S. necessitate police involvement from this agency, it will be conducted at that time.

September 21, 2022
At approximately 7 p.m., a female was arrested for retaining a stolen "Keep Right" sign.

At 9:34 p.m., an officer arrested a male for having an open fire in Opal Park (All America City Square).

At 11:28 p.m., the Cottage Grove Police Dispatch advised of an OHS form 307 that had been faxed over to cross reference information. The report was assigned with a 24 hour response time and held from the day before being assigned to a responding officer at approx. 0800 Hrs. this morning. The report involved allegations of sex abuse that was reported to have had occurred in April 2022. I followed up by contacting the involved reporting victim as well as the OHS Case Worker assigned to this case.

September 22, 2022
At 9:45 a.m., an involved subject was arrested for Trespass and Disorderly Conduct.

At 2 p.m., an officer drove to the 1-5 southbound exit 174 to retrieve a community service worker at the completion of his duties. Upon his retrieval he informed me that he had recovered a gray mountain bike frame. The officer took custody of the frame and upon arrival at the station, ran it for wants, it came back as having no record.
