David Allen Anderson, 55 of Cottage Grove, OR passed away on May 22, 2019.  He was born on July 14, 1963 in Tacoma, WA to parents Clinton J. and Bonita M. (Roundtree) Anderson.  Dave retired from Boeing where he worked as a machinist for several years.  David loved everything about racing cars including working on them with his son.  Other interests included being an avid Seahawks fan, fishing in Alaska, building model cars, and working on his classic 1950 Chevy truck.  Dave loved surprising people with random acts of kindness. He was a member of the fraternal order of Eagles, International Association of Machinists, Aerospace Workers (IAM) and Northwest Focus Midgets Racing. David is survived by his son, Doug Anderson, WA; sister, Kristie Mangialardi and husband Mike, Federal Way, WA; brother, Randy Anderson, Madris, OR; and 8 nieces and nephews.
