Deirdre Ellen Holder, 44, of Cottage Grove passed away Sept. 22, 2017.
She was born June 6, 1973, in Morristown, N.J. to Ernest and Michelle (Reardon) Holder, Jr.
Deirdre was a veterinary technician and owned and operated “Timeless Treasures” antique store in Cottage Grove.
She enjoyed kayaking, gardening and anything Oregon could offer outdoors. Deirdre was a member of the Humane Society of Cottage Grove, PETA and did animal rescue.
She is survived by her partner and best friend of eight years, Dan Walker of Cottage Grove, mother, Michelle Holder of Florida, brother, Christopher Holder, and two sisters, Andrea Ruch of New Jersey and Diane Goering.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 8 at the White House B & B, 1200 N. River Rd., Cottage Grove. Burial will be Oct. 20 at the Marcella Union Cemetery in New Jersey. Arrangements by Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel, 123 S. 7th St., Cottage Grove, OR 97424.
