Donald Eugene Toevs passed away on December 28, 2022.

Donald Eugene Toevs, 86, of Cottage Grove, Oregon formerly of Dallas, Oregon passed away December 28, 2022. Donald was born September 9, 1936 in Dallas, Oregon to parents Robert and Elizabeth (Linscheid) Toevs. After graduating from Dallas High School, Donald went to Oregon College of Education, where he received his master’s degree. Donald was a coin dealer at the Salem Coin Shop. He was a lifetime member of the Salem Coin Club since 1964, and a member of the Polk County Historical Society, and founding member of the Polk County Coin Club.

Donald is survived by his sister Darlene McGee (Kenneth) of Dexter, OR and several nieces and nephews in Oregon and Washington. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Wesley Toevs. There will be no services at this time. Arrangements are in the care of Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel and Crematorium.
