Dorothy was born and raised in England and maintained her ‘British-ness’ her entire life. During World War II, she met and married her GI, the one with the twinkle in his eye, and subsequently moved to the U.S. While raising two children she completed her education and embarked upon her dream career as a nurse. Dorothy’s passion and purpose was nurturing and care taking. She nurtured people, plants, and animals all with the same devotion and joy.
Dorothy is survived by two children, Brian of California and Lynn of Oregon, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Adrian, three siblings, and numerous beloved pets.
At Dorothy’s request, no service is planned.
