Downtown Art Walk set to stroll again Friday

It’s the perfect time to experience art inside and out by coming to the next Cottage Grove Art Walk, happening this Friday, June 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. Come stroll through buildings, along streets in the Historic Downtown District and view art created by friends and neighbors.

There will also be special performances at the Opal Center and throughout downtown.

Featured Artists will include: Imagine It Framed, presenting the realistic oil paintings of local artist Horst Hittenberger; Kalapuya Books, featuring “Gathering Energy,” a collection of photographic imagery by Paula Goodbar, whose images are comprised of layering and blending more than one of her photographs into a digital composite to create concepts she envisions; The Crafty Mercantile, showing Whimsical Gemstone’s one-of-a-kind jewelry designed by Fyona Rose; Bookmine, with Ken Bachelder, author of “Wolf, Witch, Warrior,” the second book in his series, “The Wish and Waterfall.” Music will be provided by Andrew Gotlieb; Bank Building, showcasing Chalice Savage, Snap Savage Photography; Ayslinn Blackstone, photography.
