Elaine (Noel) Kitcher, 80, of Yoncalla, died Nov. 1, 2017.
She was born in Denver on April 18, 1937 to L.S. Allen and Alice (Bryan) Heiney.
She graduated from Craig High School in Colorado.
Elaine worked in her parents restaurant as a waitress in Colorado and was a dance instructor with Arthur Murray Dance Studio with her first husband in California and Oregon. She was a housewife and a Shaklee and Tupperware distributor as well as being a certified licensed massage therapist. She also owned and operated the Curtin General Store with her late husband, Bill Kitcher.
Elaine enjoyed crabbing, dancing, spending time at the coast, riding horses, and animals in general. She also loved to help people with their health issues by massage and supplements. She was a social butterfly and a smart woman.
Elaine married Bill Kitcher, the love of her life, and celebrated 35 years together.
She is survived by a son, Mike Tripp of Cottage Grove, three daughters, Cindy Breakfield of Harrisburg, Diane Tripp of Florence, and Lizz Tripp of Connecticut, a step-son, Tim Kitcher of Yoncalla, a step-daughter, Debbie Kitcher of Washington, two brothers, Marshall Noel of Fresno, Calif. and Carroll Noel of Eugene, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Kitcher, and step-son, Billy Kitcher.
A memorial service will be held at the Living Faith Assembly of God, Saturday, Nov. 18 at 1 p.m. Arrangements in the care of Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel, Cottage Grove.
