Ella Mae Walker, 74, of Cottage Grove, OR passed away July 5, 2019. She was born February 16, 1945 in Union County, GA to parents Claude Earl and Viola Ruby (Lovingood) Beaver but was raised by Viola and Hosea Herman Woody after her biological father’s untimely death. She worked at Dairy Queen and was a Homemaker. She enjoyed beachcombing, wearing and collecting Tie Dyes, shopping, taking walks around town to visit her friends, loved children and animals; especially dogs.  She was a member of the former Evangel Temple Church and recently the Old Time Gospel Fellowship Church. She married Gary Barnett Walker on June 6, 1970 in Reno, NV. Together they had two sons. Ella is survived by her loving husband of 49 years Gary Walker; sons Keith and Darren Walker; Pauli; sisters Mozell Brua, Shirley Solesbee, Raquell Smith, Jan Solesbee, Judy Soto, Alma Bidegain ; brothers Wayne Woody, Harold Woody, and Merle Woody. A Visitation was held at 10 AM on July 15, 2019 at Smith Lund Mills Funeral Chapel, 123 S. 7^thSt., Cottage Grove, OR.  A Memorial Service and Reception followed at 11 AM.
