Frank Perrone

Frank Perrone passed away on September 21, 2022.

On Wednesday, September 21st, beloved husband, father, and Grandfather Frank Perrone passed peacefully in the evening hours surrounded by his family after his courageous battle with cancer at the age of 79.

Born August 13th, 1943, Frank grew up in San Jose, California, and went on to marry his high school sweetheart shortly after graduating. They raised their three children in the San Joaquin Valley where Frank worked as an orange grower for 21 years. Once their children were older, Frank and his wife traded their agricultural lifestyle for the green misty climate of Cottage Grove, Oregon, where Frank worked at Bi-Mart for 14 years.

Frank was a lover of the outdoors, and passionate about his connection with the earth. A farmer by trade, Frank was an avid gardener in his retired years. He was also a talented cook, and owned his own restaurant, Marshall’s Famous Sandwiches which he ran alongside his wife. After his cancer diagnosis, he continued to share the rustic Italian cuisine of his youth with his family. He was loved dearly by all who knew him, and his loss will be felt by many. He is survived by his wife Beverly, three children Frank Jr., Gina, and John, as well as his five grandchildren Emily, Angelique, Gavin, Abigale, and Megan. A public memorial service will be held on October 15th at 3:00pm at the Cottage Grove Masonic Lodge.
