Harold Dean Baskette, Jr. passed away on November 9, 2022.

Harold Dean Baskette, Jr. 60, of Cottage Grove, Oregon passed away unexpectedly November 9, 2022. Harold was born in Cottage Grove, Oregon to parents Harold and Bernice (Cranmer) Baskette February 3, 1962. Harold married Julia Offill July 13, 2013 in Cottage Grove, Oregon.

 Harold was an expert tree specialist, leading crew members for many years. He held many positions over the years, but he always came back to his roots in tree service. His favorite things to do was work in the yard and antiquing with his wife Julia. On the weekends he and Julia loved going to the coast and flying kites on the beach, and when they were done they liked to pass the kites to children that were there for them to enjoy.

 Harold is survived by his wife Julia Baskette and son Paul Baskette of Portland, OR; daughter Michelle Miller of Junction City, OR; daughter Ashley (Scott) Fogle of Waycross, GA, sister Jeri Lewis of Creswell, OR; sister Glinda Goins of Cottage Grove, OR; and 6 grandchildren.

 There was a gathering at the family residence 1518 Bryant Ave., Cottage Grove, OR 97424 November 19, 2022.  Arrangements are in the care of Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel and Crematorium.
