Helen Lillian Schuck of Cottage Grove died on June 5, 2018 at the age of 85. She was born on November 28, 1932 in Charleston, WV, to parents Earl and Hazel (Sigman) Holmes.  She attended Sissonville High School in Charleston, WV.  She married Alfred Schuck on October 20, 1952 in Charleston, WV, and they were married for 66 years. Helen enjoyed golfing, shopping, traveling and long car rides.  She is survived by her spouse, Alfred “Ray” Schuck of Cottage Grove; sons, Johnnie Ray Schuck of Cottage Grove and Allen Wayne Schuck of California; daughter, Alicia Annette Baber-Schuck of Cottage Grove; brother, Wes Holmes of Texas; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell Holmes and Kenneth Holmes, and sister, Thelma Holmes.  A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 16 at 2 p.m. at 33451 Van Duyn Rd. in Eugene. Arrangements are in the care of Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel in Cottage Grove.
