Larry McDonald passed away peacefully December 16, 2018 in Redmond, OR at the age of 91.

We will miss him and hold our memories close.

He was a proud to be a “Logger”. He was a loading logs when he retired from Weyerhauser after 30 years in 1987.

He loved fishing, camping bowling and in his younger days, dancing. Larry played and sang country and western on the guitar, piano, and harmonica. Great fun around the campfires. Larry was always up on football and basketball at all levels.

Larry is survived by his wife of 56 years Marjorie McDonald currently of Prineville, OR, his three children; a son D. Kim McDonald of Medford, OR, daughters; Debra of Blanchard, ID and Denise of Post Falls, ID, two stepchildren; Larry of Bremerton, WA and Kathy of Prineville, OR and their spouses, 10 grandchildren and many great and great great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law; Marge and Mary Jean, nephews, nieces and cousins.

Larry was preceded in death by his mother Alice, father Robert, brothers Don, Ed and Gene and sister: Charmain and granddaughter Rene.

A graveside service will be held on June 8th at 2:00pm at Fir Grove Cemetery, 2148 Cemetery Rd., Cottage Grove
