Lola “Mickey” Maxine Partney passed away on October 31, 2022

Lola “Mickey” Maxine Partney, 101, of Cottage Grove passed away on October 31, 2022. Lola was born on May 8, 1921 in Chamberlain, South Dakota to Levi Charles Fry and Bessie Evaline (Butler) Fry and was the youngest of five children.

Mickey was a charter member of the Cottage Grove Women of the Moose, a member of the Dorena Grange and also of the Delight Valley Church of Christ. At the age of 80, she obtained her High School GED certificate.

She is survived by her daughters Bessie Speers of Cottage Grove, OR; Lola Brymer of Coos Bay, OR; Joyce (Ron) Frank of Creswell, OR; Connie Knighten of Cottage Grove, OR; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held November 17, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Delight Valley Church of Christ 33087 E. Saginaw Rd., Cottage Grove, OR 97424. Arrangements in the care of Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel and Crematorium.
