• Anyone going into grades 5-8 and high school (9-12) who is interested in cheerleading next school year should come to a meeting right after school today, May 15. Talk to the coaches, see the uniforms and learn a cheer. For more information, call Colleen at 541-520-9275.

• Today (May 15) after school, there will be a helmet fitting at 3:15 p.m. for those playing football in the fall. At 6 p.m., there will be a mandatory meeting for all parents of students playing football in the 2019 season for both middle and high school.

• Tonight, May 15, will be the first CAL Community Mixer. Community members, Booster Club members, parents, staff and board members are all encouraged to come from 6 to 8 p.m. at Crow Middle/High School. It will be a casual exchange of ideas and information in a relaxed setting while enjoying hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and sodas. The event is free; children are welcome to attend.

• Track and field students in middle and high school are doing very well.

• CAL School Board meets at Lorane Grange tomorrow, May 16, beginning at 7 p.m. An executive session will be held prior to the public meeting, beginning at 6 p.m.

• Grangers, come out on Tuesday, May 21, at 9 p.m., for cleaning and upkeep in and around the building.

• Tuesday, May 21, is the Spring Sports Dessert at 6:30 p.m. at Crow High School.
