Neola Marie Willey passed away on August 14th, 2022.

Neola Marie Willey, 88, of Springfield, Oregon, passed away on 14 August 2022, prayed into heaven by her three living children and surrounded by many of her grandchildren. She was born to parents Nels Magnus Johnson and Mary K Wiseman, on 12 November 1933 in Heppner, Oregon.

She graduated from Cottage Grove High School in 1952 and went on to study at a local business school and then Boise Bible College where she met and married her husband of 63 years, James Lee Willey. Together they raised 4 children: Miriam Jones, Rebecca Warren, David Willey, Ruth Giyer.

She enjoyed collecting salt and pepper shakers and antiques, traveling, camping, hiking, visiting the coast, bird watching, and throwing Christmas parties for her grandchildren. Above all of her collections, however, it was her family she treasured most.

Neola is survived by her brother Charles Raymond Johnson, her sister-in-law Mary (Tullar) Haas, daughter Miriam Jones, son David Willey and his wife Tracy, daughter Ruth Giyer and her husband Jeff, grandchildren Joel Judd, Isaac Judd, Levi Warren, Daniel Willey, Monica Schafer, Paul Willey, Nathan Warren, Micaela Willey, Jeremy Henninger-Chiang, Elizabeth Willey, Austin Giyer, Hannah Waresak, Michael Giyer, David Giyer, Makayla Giyer, Sarah Giyer, Joshua Giyer, and great grandchildren Jonathan Schafer, Grace Judd, Silas Warren, Hylia Warren, Zebulon Warren, and Everlen Warren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James Lee Willey and daughter Rebecca Warren as well as son-in-laws Rob Warren and Steve Jones.
