Robert (Rob) Louis Cline passed away on April 27, 2023.

Robert (Rob) Louis Cline, 64, of Cottage Grove, Oregon passed away April 27, 2023 of natural causes.  Robert was born in Cottage Grove, Oregon on April 6, 1959 to parents Verne and Jessie (Ladd) Cline.  He graduated from Cottage Grove High School where he participated in football, track, and weightlifting and was a proud member of the Rimrock Savages.  Rob enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles, mechanical work, car body work and painting, wood carving, and being an uncle.  He played softball after high school for enjoyment.  He worked in the bean fields growing up and later made a career in the logging industry working for Ladd Logging, Heath Logging, other small gyppo outfits, and lastly Overholser Logging.  He loved his dog and faithful companion Bandit, his Alaskan Huskie/Wolf.  Robert is survived by his parents, Verne and Jessie; sister Sandra Harris (Jon Swearingen) of Cottage Grove, sister Pamela Ewing (Steve Ewing) of Cottage Grove; 3 nieces, 1 nephew (Cheris, Danielle, Kasee, Hunter); 4 greatnieces, and 2 great nephews (Kaiden, Gina, Aerin, Lauren, Jael, Noah); and 1 great-great niece (Kinslee).  He is preceded in death by his brother, David Cline.  A Celebration of Life is planned on Saturday, May 13^that 4:00 at Dorena Grange, 34360 Row River Road, Cottage Grove, OR.
