Suspect sought in Creswell robbery

On August 27, shortly after 6 a.m., the Lane County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a robbery at the Dari Mart on South Front Street in Creswell.  Initial investigation indicates that a Hispanic male with dark, shoulder length hair and a goatee entered the store and demanded cash and lottery tickets.  The suspect reportedly fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and lottery tickets.  The suspect is described as wearing black shorts, a black jacket over a light colored t-shirt, black gloves, a dark colored baseball-type hat worn backwards and black shoes. It is unknown if he had a weapon.

 The store employee was not injured during the incident. 

 The Lane County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who knows the identity or location of the suspect pictured to call 541-682-4141 and asks the public to not attempt to contact or to apprehend him.
