Vickie Lee Bangle passed away on June 12, 2023.

Cottage Grove – Vickie Lee Bangle, 65, of Cottage Grove, OR. passed away on June 12th, 2023 at her home with family.  Vickie was born July 17, 1957 to Richard and Dorothy Plumlee in Crescent City, California. Vickie worked as a CNA in Cottage Grove since 1994 at the old hospital till it closed down, then retired from Coast Fork Nursing Center due to illness.  She also worked early on at Masonic Home in Forest Grove.  Vickie was predeceased by her mother, Dorothy Mae Plumlee. She is survived by her husband Larry Bangle.  Daughters, Jody Harris, Candice Simpson, son-in-law, Bruce Simpson.  Grandchildren, Cobie Simpson, Emilie Simpson, Chyanne Harris, Landon Harris, Alyssa Frei.  Sisters, Cheryl Heikes, Brenda Kelley.  Brothers, Richard Plumlee Jr., David Plumlee. Services will be held at Brumbaugh Cemetery on June 23 at 11am.  Beloved Mother, Wife, Grandma, Sister, Friend … Will forever be in our hearts.  She was a lover of all animals.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a sanctuary she felt strongly about, donated and visited.  Best Friends Animal Society (Angels Rest).
