William Henry Bolding, 84 of Cottage Grove, OR passed away on August 28, 2019.  He was born on December 14, 1934 in Lake City, Arkansas to parents Eugene and Stella (Anderson) Bolding.  Bill married Carolyn Ann Egbert on August 31, 1952 in Carson City, NV.  Despite only completing education through the 8^thgrade, Bill supported his family as a road construction supervisor; building roads for the timber industry working for both Bohemia Lumber Company and Willamette Industries. He enjoyed camping, hunting, charter boat fishing, and traveling with his wife.  He loved the outdoors, animals, working around the house tinkering and fixing things and Bingo.  Bill is a past member of the Elks and Moose Lodges and fought fires in the woods as a volunteer.  Bill is survived by his daughter, Danielle Reeves and husband Kenneth; siblings, Barbara Myer, Bobby Bolding, Jim Bolding, Donny Bolding, Jerry Bolding, Sandi Ward, Judi Pruitt, Kaye Cunha, Ray Bolding and Cindi Cannon; 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carol Bolding; daughter, Deb Collins; sons, Mitch and Mike Bolding and granddaughter, Summer Bailey.  A Visitation was held on Friday, August 30, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Smith Lund Mills Funeral Chapel, 123 S. 7^thSt., Cottage Grove, OR.  A Celebration of Life was held on Sunday, September 1, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Delight Valley Church of Christ, 33087 E Saginaw Rd., Cottage Grove, OR.  Inurnment followed the Celebration of Life at Fir Grove Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Green Hill Humane Society, 88530 Green Hill Rd., Eugene, OR 97402.  Arrangements in the care of Smith Lund Mills Funeral Chapel.
