WOE Fair corrals locals for 91st annual, three-day event

COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. - Last weekend, attendance for the Western Oregon Expo was back to its normal high level. Prizes were awarded to the winners of the three-legged races and dress up contests. The return of the popular Logging Show was held on Saturday and had about 300 people in attendance.
Log House Plants gave away plant starts to provide eighty-five free vegetable and flower planters as a benefit to 4-H, who had a great animal show. Fair attendees also brought nonperishable food and monetary donations for the Community Sharing Food Drive, where 627 lbs. of food and $880.00 in donations were collected.
